Memory.fit for obstacle racing

Runs, carries and grip. One plan for race day.

Your watch records the runs and Hevy the gym. Your AI reads both in Memory.fit, plans the mix toward your race and fuels the long ones.

“Spartan Beast in 14 weeks. Plan my runs, carries and grip work.”

Ideas

What your AI builds for you

Memory.fit recommends nothing itself. These are words for your AI: copy one, paste it in, and your AI builds it in Memory.fit.

Plan training

  • Plan my week in Memory.fit: two runs with hills, one grip and carry day, and one obstacle practice session.

  • Plan my next 2 weeks of training in Memory.fit. Ask me about my sport, my free days and what I'm working toward first.

Gym & strength

  • Plan two strength sessions a week for obstacle racing in Memory.fit: pull-ups, dead hangs, carries and lunges, the loads rising from what I've logged.

  • Log today's gym session in Memory.fit: bench press 4 x 8 at 60 kg, row 4 x 10 at 50 kg, squats 3 x 5 at 80 kg.

It shows on Plan, under that day, with your totals.

Race day

  • Write my plan for my next race in Memory.fit: what I eat the day before and on race morning, what I carry on the course, and a checklist for gloves and shoes.

  • Save the date of my next race in Memory.fit and count the weeks down on my Progress page.

Fuel a session

  • Write a fueling plan in Memory.fit for Saturday's long hill run: carbs per hour, what I carry and when.

  • How many carbs per hour should I take on a 2-hour session? Check Memory.fit's reference numbers and my gut training, then tell me what you would set.

Hydration

  • Sweat test: 76.5 kg before, 75.4 kg after a 75-minute hill run, drank 500 ml. Save it in Memory.fit.

  • I just had 500 ml of water and a double espresso. Log them in Memory.fit.

Drinks show on Plan, under that day.

Recovery & sleep

  • I slept badly. Move today's hard session to tomorrow and make today easy.

  • My legs are still sore from Tuesday. Swap tomorrow's lower-body day for upper body in Memory.fit.

Check-ins

  • Check Memory.fit for the run or obstacle session that just synced and tell me how it went against the plan.

  • Give me my morning brief from Memory.fit: what's new since you last checked, like last night's sleep, a weigh-in or a session that synced, and what's planned for today.

If your AI can schedule tasks, ask it to run this every morning at 7.

Look back

  • Compare my planned and completed training over the last 4 weeks.

  • Write my weekly review in Memory.fit: what went well, what I missed, what to focus on next.

Memory.fit adds the week's own numbers: sessions, minutes, days logged.

“In Memory.fit, set up my Progress page for lifting. At the top, two compact metrics side by side: my gym sessions this week and my gym time this week in hours. Then a featured bar chart of gym sessions by week for the last 12 weeks, a short note on my main lifts that you write from my strength logs (top set and how it moved), and a table of my gym sessions from the last 14 days. Keep the pillars, my goal and what my AI wrote below. Read Memory.fit's dashboard capabilities first.”

Questions

Memory.fit for obstacle racing: good to know.

  • Any obstacle race. Spartan's Sprint (about 5 km), Super (10 km), Beast (21 km) and Ultra (50 km), Tough Mudder's 5 km, 10 km and 15 km, or a mud run near you. Add your races in the Memory.fit app, with a target time if you have one, and your AI plans the weeks toward each one.

  • Your AI writes the strength and grip work as exercises with reps, a time or a distance, like dead hang 4 x 45 s or farmer's carry 4 x 50 m at 2 x 24 kg. Memory.fit keeps them on Plan with your totals and compares what you did with what was planned.

  • Yes. Connect Hevy with your Hevy Pro API key and every set, rep and weight comes in. Your runs come from your watch, through its own connection or through Apple Health and Health Connect.

  • Yes. Structured sessions your AI plans go to Garmin, COROS, Wahoo and Suunto, and to intervals.icu, once you connect them in the Memory.fit app. Strength and grip sessions stay on Plan in the Memory.fit app; they aren't sent to watches.

  • Your AI sets the carbs, fluid and sodium per hour and writes your race-day plan into Memory.fit, with a checklist you tick off in the app. Memory.fit sends no reminders during the race.

  • No. Your AI writes it. Memory.fit gives your AI your real data, keeps the plan your AI writes and shows it in the app with the AI's name on it. Any change can be undone.

  • Strava activities show in the Memory.fit app. By Strava's rules they never reach your AI, so your AI reads the same sessions from your watch or from Apple Health and Health Connect.
