How to · Staying in control

Do a sweat test and give the result to your AI

Weigh yourself before and after a session to find how much you sweat an hour. Your AI saves it, and Memory.fit works out your sweat rate.

Steps

  1. Pee, then weigh yourself without clothes. Do a session of 45 to 90 minutes at the effort you race at, and note everything you drink.

  2. Towel off and weigh yourself again, without clothes, before you drink or pee.

  3. Tell your AI the numbers, for example: "Sweat test: 72.4 kg before, 71.3 kg after a 60 minute run at 24 °C, drank 400 ml. Save it in Memory.fit."

  4. Memory.fit works out your sweat rate per hour and the share of body weight you lost. See it in You, then Sweat and hydration, under Sweat tests.

  5. Test more than once, in the heat and effort you race in. Your sweat rate is the average of your last three tests from the past year.

  6. Want the number first? Use the free sweat rate calculator on memory.fit.
