Memory.fit vs Fuelin

Memory.fit vs Fuelin: a fueling app, or your AI fueling your plan.

Fuelin is a performance nutrition app for iPhone that builds daily food and workout fueling guidance around your training, with AI food logging and an optional tier with a human nutrition coach. Memory.fit has no nutrition plan of its own: it gives the AI you already use your training, sleep, body and fuel, and your AI sets the daily targets, plans meals and writes the fuel plan for each session, next to the training plan it also writes.

The difference

Where Memory.fit is different.

  • Training and fueling from one AI

The AI that fuels your long ride also planned it, moved it after a bad night and sent it to your watch (Garmin, COROS, Suunto and Wahoo). Fuelin reads your plan from apps such as TrainingPeaks or TriDot.

  • Numbers in grams, with sources

Your AI writes carbs, fluid and sodium per hour for each session and daily fuel targets, from reference numbers that cite the research. Fuelin's pages describe a traffic light guide for carbs around exercise.

  • The AI you already use

Tell Claude or ChatGPT what you ate, or show it a photo, and it logs the meal. The same AI answers why today has more carbs than yesterday.

  • iPhone and Android

Memory.fit is on Android through Google Play now, and the iPhone app is in App Store review. Fuelin's App Store listing says it is only for iPhone.

Fair is fair

Where Fuelin is strong.

  • A real nutrition team: co founder Scott Tindal, sports dietitian Dr. Alan McCubbin and registered dietitian Megan Foley.
  • Human coaching: the Copilot tier adds messaging with a Fuelin nutrition coach and live sessions.
  • Reads plans from many training apps: Strava, TrainingPeaks, V.O2, Final Surge, HumanGO, TriDot, RunDot and Garmin.
  • A polished food logger with AI logging and barcode scanning, plus a sweat rate tracker.
  • Scale: it says 65,000+ downloads and 5,000,000+ workouts fueled, and 4.5 stars from about 1,300 App Store ratings.

Questions

Memory.fit vs Fuelin: questions.

  • Yes, for athletes who want their AI to handle fueling. Through Memory.fit, the AI you use sets daily targets, logs meals and writes a fuel plan for each session. Fuelin does this in its own app, with an option for a human coach.

  • We did not find a ChatGPT app, a Claude connector or an MCP server on Fuelin's pages. Its food logging uses its own AI.

  • Fuelin's App Store listing shows Autopilot at $29 a month or $139 a year, and Copilot, with a coach, at $99 a month or $399 a year. Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, 7 days free, and your AI's own subscription is separate.

  • It depends on how long you go, from little or none under 75 minutes to 60 to 90 g an hour beyond 2 hours, and more for a trained gut. The free Race Fuel Planner on memory.fit gives your number for your race, with sources.
