Memory.fit vs TrainingPeaks

Memory.fit vs TrainingPeaks: a training platform, or your own AI.

TrainingPeaks is the training platform many endurance coaches and athletes plan in, now owned by Garmin, with the widest list of device and app connections in endurance sport. Memory.fit is not a training log or a coaching platform: it gives the AI you already use your training, sleep, body and fuel, and your AI writes the plan, targets and fueling back. Memory.fit also reads your TrainingPeaks calendar, so the two work side by side.

The difference

Where Memory.fit is different.

  • Your AI plans, in plain language

Tell Claude or ChatGPT you slept badly, are traveling or want a recovery week, and it moves the sessions. TrainingPeaks' home and pricing pages describe a platform you or your coach plan in; they do not mention an AI assistant or MCP.

  • Fueling and meals, not only training

Your AI can set daily fuel and fluid targets, plan meals, log meals from a photo, record sweat tests and write carbs, fluid and sodium per hour for each session. TrainingPeaks lists nutrition apps such as Fuelin, Hexis and MyFitnessPal as partner integrations.

  • Sleep and recovery in the plan

Your AI sees sleep, HRV and resting heart rate from your watch, Oura or WHOOP next to the plan, so it can ease a week before you feel it.

  • Works with your TrainingPeaks plan

If a coach plans for you in TrainingPeaks, Memory.fit reads the calendar every hour and your AI fuels it and fits meals and recovery around it. Memory.fit never changes your TrainingPeaks plan.

Fair is fair

Where TrainingPeaks is strong.

  • The widest connection list in endurance sport: it says it connects with more devices and apps than any other endurance training app.
  • The coaching standard: a coach marketplace and coaching plans, and the place many coaches already build their athletes' weeks.
  • Planned workouts sync to your device on Premium.
  • Strength training through Lift, with more than 1,000 movements.
  • Mature analysis built over many years, and partnerships with federations such as USA Triathlon and British Triathlon.
  • Now part of Garmin, which bought TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic in July 2026.

Choosing

Who should pick which.

Pick Memory.fit if

  • You plan your own training and want an AI that does it with your real data.
  • You want fuel and recovery in the same plan as your sessions.
  • You already pay for Claude, ChatGPT or another AI.

Pick TrainingPeaks if

  • You work with a coach who plans in TrainingPeaks, or you are a coach.
  • You want deep training analysis and the widest device support.
  • You use apps that only connect to TrainingPeaks.

Many athletes will keep both. Your coach plans in TrainingPeaks, Memory.fit reads that calendar, and your AI fuels each session, sets your daily fuel and watches your sleep around the plan.
