What it can do
What ChatGPT can do with it
- Plans written back
- Yes. ChatGPT plans your week, fuels your long sessions and writes it all back to Memory.fit.
- Meal photos
- Yes. Send ChatGPT a photo of your meal: it logs the meal and can pass the photo itself to Memory.fit, so it saves with the entry.
- Scheduled check-ins
- In part. ChatGPT can schedule tasks, but OpenAI does not say a scheduled task can use a custom connector like Memory.fit. Try it once.
- Where it runs
- The web, desktop and phone apps. Adding Memory.fit needs chatgpt.com on a computer.

Other routes
Polar in ChatGPT without Memory.fit
Polar has no official route to ChatGPT. The nearest is OpenAI's own:
From OpenAI
ChatGPT Health, through Apple Health
- Where
- US only
- Needs
- ChatGPT on iPhone, with Polar Flow sharing to Apple Health
- The catch
- It sees only what Polar Flow writes to Apple Health: workouts, heart rate during workouts, sleep times, steps and weight. Nightly Recharge and HRV don't go there, and nothing goes back to your Polar.

With Memory.fit
Polar in ChatGPT, anywhere
- Works in every country.
- ChatGPT reads your Polar data as Polar records it: the list above.
- Every AI you add reads the same history, under its own permissions.
Try it
Ask ChatGPT about your Polar data
“Read my Nightly Recharge for the last two weeks and tell me which nights I recovered worst.”
Two nights stand out: last Tuesday, compromised, with an ANS charge of −4.2, and this Sunday, poor, at −6.1. Both came after evening intervals, and you slept under 6 h 30 each time.

“Move tomorrow's threshold run if my Nightly Recharge is poor, and tell me why.”
Your Nightly Recharge was poor last night, with an ANS charge of −5.8, so I moved Thursday's threshold run to Saturday. Thursday is now an easy 40 min run.

Polar in ChatGPT, in short.
Not from Polar. The nearest is ChatGPT Health, through Apple Health, from OpenAI: US only. ChatGPT on iPhone, with Polar Flow sharing to Apple Health. It sees only what Polar Flow writes to Apple Health: workouts, heart rate during workouts, sleep times, steps and weight. Nightly Recharge and HRV don't go there, and nothing goes back to your Polar. ChatGPT gets only the permissions you allow, every change shows in the Memory.fit app with who made it, and you can disconnect ChatGPT or Polar at any time.
Not the first time. Adding a custom MCP server needs chatgpt.com in a browser on a computer, and takes about two minutes. In the Memory.fit app, Settings › AI agents › ChatGPT › Send it to my computer sends you these steps.
No. Memory.fit only reads from Polar. When ChatGPT changes a session, the change shows on Plan in the Memory.fit app.
