Scheduled check-ins
Yes. Dots are always on, each with its own cloud computer, so your dot can check in on its own.
Where it runs
Inside ChatGPT, each dot with its own cloud computer. Adding Memory.fit needs chatgpt.com in a browser.

Your dot reads your Samsung Health data through the Memory.fit plugin you add on chatgpt.com, which ChatGPT itself can use too. Allow it in your dot's app settings, and both read the same history.

Questions

Samsung Health in Dots, in short.

  • Not from Samsung Health. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: Samsung Health shares with Health Connect, the Memory.fit app reads it, and your dot reads it through one Memory.fit address.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Dots has its own requirements: ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Dots' requirements name no region.

  • Your dot gets only the permissions you allow, every change shows in the Memory.fit app with who made it, and you can disconnect Dots or Samsung Health at any time.

  • ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium. OpenAI also offers them in beta on Enterprise, where an admin turns them on. Memory.fit itself is the same price with any AI.

  • Each time you open the Memory.fit app on your phone: it reads what Samsung Health shared with Health Connect since the last time. Your watch sends all-day heart rate to Samsung Health in batches, so the newest readings can take a while.
