What it can do

What Dots can do with it

Plans written back
In part. OpenAI says a dot's background research uses your connected apps read only, so plans are written when you ask in the chat.
Workouts sent to your Suunto
In part. Once your dot plans a structured session, Memory.fit sends it to your Suunto. Up to 90 days ahead, and a session your AI moves or changes is replaced on the watch.
Scheduled check-ins
Yes. Dots are always on, each with its own cloud computer, so your dot can check in on its own.
Where it runs
Inside ChatGPT, each dot with its own cloud computer. Adding Memory.fit needs chatgpt.com in a browser.
Good to know
When your dot moves or changes a session, Memory.fit takes the old guide off your Suunto and sends the new one, so your watch shows only the current plan.

Limits

Limits, said plainly

  • You sign in with Suunto in the Memory.fit app, and your AI never sees your Suunto password.
  • Suunto's HRV reaches your AI the way Suunto sends it, beside its other data: Suunto doesn't say which HRV measure it is.
  • Suunto's own MCP is on its China site. Asked about it on Suunto's forum, a moderator wrote of a version outside China: "hopefully this will be a reality soon… but not yet".
  • Suunto Run and Suunto Run 2 don't take SuuntoPlus Guides, so a session your AI plans can't reach them; it stays on Plan in the Memory.fit app.
  • Your AI's own subscription is separate from Memory.fit's.

Questions

Suunto in Dots, in short.

  • Not from Suunto. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: connect Suunto in the Memory.fit app, add one Memory.fit address to Dots, and your dot reads it.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Dots has its own requirements: ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Dots' requirements name no region.

  • In part. OpenAI says a dot's background research uses your connected apps read only, so plans are written when you ask in the chat. Once your dot plans a structured session, Memory.fit sends it to your Suunto.

  • ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium. OpenAI also offers them in beta on Enterprise, where an admin turns them on. Memory.fit itself is the same price with any AI.

  • Your recent ones. Memory.fit brings in up to 90 days when you connect Suunto, and every new activity arrives as your watch syncs.
