What it can do

What Dots can do with it

Plans written back
In part. OpenAI says a dot's background research uses your connected apps read only, so plans are written when you ask in the chat.
Scheduled check-ins
Yes. Dots are always on, each with its own cloud computer, so your dot can check in on its own.
Where it runs
Inside ChatGPT, each dot with its own cloud computer. Adding Memory.fit needs chatgpt.com in a browser.
Good to know
A Hevy workout that Apple Health or Health Connect also has shows once in Memory.fit, with Hevy's sets and your watch's heart rate.

Ask Dots about your Hevy data

“How has my bench press moved over the last eight weeks in Hevy?”

Uses:get_strength_history

“Which of my lifts have stalled over the last six weeks?”

DotsExample
Your squat is the one: 120 kg × 5 for four weeks running. Everything else moved, your deadlift most, from 150 kg × 3 to 162.5 kg × 3.

From the video. Answers depend on your data.

Uses:get_strength_history

Limits

Limits, said plainly

  • Needs Hevy Pro for the API key. Without a key, a workout Hevy saves to Apple Health or Health Connect still comes in from there, as a strength workout with its time and estimated calories, without the sets; Hevy's sync to them has to be on, and it doesn't send older workouts.
  • Memory.fit reads Hevy and writes nothing back to it.
  • Your key is stored encrypted and never shown again; revoke it in Hevy at any time.
  • The first read goes 90 days back.
  • Your AI's own subscription is separate from Memory.fit's.

Questions

Hevy in Dots, in short.

  • Not from Hevy. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: connect Hevy in the Memory.fit app, add one Memory.fit address to Dots, and your dot reads it.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Dots has its own requirements: ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Dots' requirements name no region.

  • Your dot gets only the permissions you allow, every change shows in the Memory.fit app with who made it, and you can disconnect Dots or Hevy at any time.

  • ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium. OpenAI also offers them in beta on Enterprise, where an admin turns them on. Memory.fit itself is the same price with any AI.

  • Yes. Hevy gives API keys to Hevy Pro members, and Memory.fit reads Hevy with that key. Without a key, a workout Hevy saves to Apple Health or Health Connect still comes in from there, as a strength workout with its time and estimated calories, without the sets; Hevy's sync to them has to be on, and it doesn't send older workouts.
