What it can do

What Grok Bot can do with it

Plans written back
Yes. Grok Bot plans and reviews from your real training, and can re-plan a week after a bad night's sleep.
Scheduled check-ins
Yes. Grok Bot keeps working after you close the app, so it can write your weekly review while you train.
Where it runs
A desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux. A companion app on iPhone and Android, no web app.
Good to know
This page is for Grok Bot, xAI's always-on agent in its own desktop and phone apps, not Grok on grok.com. Grok Bot sees each set's type as Hevy marks it, warm-up, working, drop or failure, and warm-up sets never count toward your top sets or your volume.

Limits

Limits, said plainly

  • Needs Hevy Pro for the API key. Without a key, a workout Hevy saves to Apple Health or Health Connect still comes in from there, as a strength workout with its time and estimated calories, without the sets; Hevy's sync to them has to be on, and it doesn't send older workouts.
  • Memory.fit reads Hevy and writes nothing back to it.
  • Your key is stored encrypted and never shown again; revoke it in Hevy at any time.
  • The first read goes 90 days back.
  • Your AI's own subscription is separate from Memory.fit's.

Questions

Hevy in Grok Bot, in short.

  • Not from Hevy. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: connect Hevy in the Memory.fit app, add one Memory.fit address to Grok Bot, and Grok Bot reads it.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Grok Bot has its own requirements: X Premium, Super or Ultra, or a legacy Cursor plan.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Grok Bot's requirements name no region.

  • Grok Bot gets only the permissions you allow, every change shows in the Memory.fit app with who made it, and you can disconnect Grok Bot or Hevy at any time.

  • In a message. Grok Bot has no settings form for it: ask it to add a custom MCP server called Memory.fit at the address above, check the name and address it shows you, approve it, then tap Authorize and sign in. It works from your next message.

  • Your last 90 days. Memory.fit reads 90 days of Hevy workouts when you connect, then each new one as you finish it.
