What it can do

What Claude can do with it

Plans written back
Yes. Claude writes your plans back to Memory.fit, and asks you before it replaces or removes something you have.
Meal photos
In part. Claude sees your meal photo and logs the meal, but can't hand the photo itself to Memory.fit unless it can run code with internet access.
Scheduled check-ins
Yes. On Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, Claude runs scheduled tasks in the cloud, and they use your connectors.
Where it runs
claude.ai, the desktop app and your phone. New connectors are added on the web or desktop, then work in the phone app too.
Good to know
Hevy's own AI app works only in ChatGPT, so Memory.fit is how Claude reads your Hevy sets, with a key you make once in Hevy Pro.

Hevy's own Hevy app for ChatGPT names ChatGPT, not Claude.

Try it

Ask Claude about your Hevy data

“How has my bench press moved over the last eight weeks in Hevy?”

Uses:get_strength_history

“Which of my lifts have stalled over the last six weeks?”

ClaudeExample
Two have. Your squat top set has sat at 120 kg × 5 for four weeks, and your overhead press at 50 kg × 6 for three. Bench press and deadlift kept climbing.

From the video. Answers depend on your data.

Uses:get_strength_history

“How many working sets did I do last week compared with my usual?”

Uses:get_strength_history

“Plan Thursday's upper body session from my last four weeks of lifting.”

ClaudeExample
Added for Thursday: 6 exercises and 18 sets, led by bench press 4 × 6 at 87.5 kg, since your bench climbed four weeks in a row. It’s on your Plan in Memory.fit.

Limits

Limits, said plainly

  • Needs Hevy Pro for the API key. Without a key, a workout Hevy saves to Apple Health or Health Connect still comes in from there, as a strength workout with its time and estimated calories, without the sets; Hevy's sync to them has to be on, and it doesn't send older workouts.
  • Memory.fit reads Hevy and writes nothing back to it.
  • Your key is stored encrypted and never shown again; revoke it in Hevy at any time.
  • The first read goes 90 days back.
  • Your AI's own subscription is separate from Memory.fit's.

Questions

Hevy in Claude, in short.

  • Not from Hevy. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: connect Hevy in the Memory.fit app, add one Memory.fit address to Claude, and Claude reads it.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Claude has its own requirements: any plan, about a minute.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Claude's requirements name no region.

  • Claude gets only the permissions you allow, every change shows in the Memory.fit app with who made it, and you can disconnect Claude or Hevy at any time.

  • Not the first time. Claude adds new connectors on claude.ai or in the desktop app. After that, Memory.fit works in the Claude phone app too.

  • Yes. Hevy gives API keys to Hevy Pro members, and Memory.fit reads Hevy with that key. Without a key, a workout Hevy saves to Apple Health or Health Connect still comes in from there, as a strength workout with its time and estimated calories, without the sets; Hevy's sync to them has to be on, and it doesn't send older workouts.
