What it can do

What Dots can do with it

Plans written back
In part. OpenAI says a dot's background research uses your connected apps read only, so plans are written when you ask in the chat.
Workouts sent to your Garmin
In part. Once your dot plans a structured session, Memory.fit sends it to your Garmin. Up to 90 days ahead, and a session your AI moves or changes is updated on the watch.
Scheduled check-ins
Yes. Dots are always on, each with its own cloud computer, so your dot can check in on its own.
Where it runs
Inside ChatGPT, each dot with its own cloud computer. Adding Memory.fit needs chatgpt.com in a browser.
Good to know
Your dot reads your Garmin through the Memory.fit plugin you add on chatgpt.com, which ChatGPT itself can use too. Allow it in your dot's app settings, and both read the same Garmin history.

“How has my training load from Garmin moved over the last six weeks, and was last week my biggest?”

Uses:get_training_loadget_workouts

“Did my sleep and HRV this week justify Saturday's long run?”

DotsExample
Yes, mostly. Your HRV stayed between 58 and 66 ms all week, inside your usual range, and you slept 7 h 05 a night. Friday's 5 h 40 was the one weak spot.

Questions

Garmin in Dots, in short.

  • Not from Garmin. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: connect Garmin in the Memory.fit app, add one Memory.fit address to Dots, and your dot reads it.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Dots has its own requirements: ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Dots' requirements name no region.

  • In part. OpenAI says a dot's background research uses your connected apps read only, so plans are written when you ask in the chat. Once your dot plans a structured session, Memory.fit sends it to your Garmin.

  • ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium. OpenAI also offers them in beta on Enterprise, where an admin turns them on. Memory.fit itself is the same price with any AI.

  • Not the first time. You add Memory.fit on chatgpt.com in a browser, then allow it in your dot's app settings. After that, message your dot wherever you use ChatGPT.
