Connect Apple Watch to Dots

Soon. It needs the Memory.fit iPhone app, which is coming soon. Once it is out, connect Apple Watch there, add one Memory.fit address to Dots, and your dot reads your workouts, sleep and sleep stages, HRV and resting heart rate.

Your dot can also write your plans back to Memory.fit, where you see them in the app.

What Dots needs: ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium.

What it reads

What Dots reads from Apple Watch

Through Apple Health on your iPhone: the Memory.fit iPhone app reads what your watch records, and puts the sessions your AI plans in the Workout app.

The first sync reads up to 90 days back.

  • Workouts with heart rate, pace and power
  • Sleep and sleep stages
  • HRV and resting heart rate
  • VO2 max and steps

Only what your watch saves to Apple Health comes through.

What it can do

What Dots can do with it

Plans written back
In part. OpenAI says a dot's background research uses your connected apps read only, so plans are written when you ask in the chat.
Scheduled check-ins
Yes. Dots are always on, each with its own cloud computer, so your dot can check in on its own.
Where it runs
Inside ChatGPT, each dot with its own cloud computer. Adding Memory.fit needs chatgpt.com in a browser.
Good to know
On iOS 18 the watch shows each step's name from your dot's plan beside its alert, so a step your dot gave an effort, like RPE 6, still says so on your wrist.

Questions

Apple Watch in Dots, in short.

  • Not from Apple. Memory.fit is a hosted MCP server: Apple Watch shares with Apple Health, the Memory.fit app reads it, and your dot reads it through one Memory.fit address.

  • Memory.fit is $9 a month or $69 a year, with 7 days free, for every device and every AI you connect. Dots has its own requirements: ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium.

  • Memory.fit works in every country, and Dots' requirements name no region.

  • Your dot gets only the permissions you allow, every change shows in the Memory.fit app with who made it, and you can disconnect Dots or Apple Watch at any time.

  • ChatGPT Pro or Business Premium. OpenAI also offers them in beta on Enterprise, where an admin turns them on. Memory.fit itself is the same price with any AI.

  • Yes, once. In the Memory.fit app, open Settings › Health data › Apple Watch and turn on Sessions your AI plans. It needs iOS 17 or later and a paired Apple Watch.

Your next chapter starts with everything you've learned.
